In keeping with the spirit of remembering our war heroes, on Friday, November 21, 2025, Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, received a courtesy call from Mr. Prince Albert Jacob, Trinidadian Royal Air Force World War II veteran.
Having left our shores in 1943 to serve in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War, Mr. Jacob served with distinction and was highly decorated for his valour and dedication. Earlier this year, Mr. Jacob celebrated his 100th birthday and continues to play an active role in commemorations honouring the contributions of WWII veterans.
Also present for the visit were Mr. Dennis T. Olivier, Chairman of the Delegation of the Royal Air Forces Association; and Dr. Kenneth P. Butcher, President and Dr. Joseph Jacob, Mr. Jacob’s nephew.
