Since the launch of the School Visit Programme in January 2024, Their Excellencies Christine Carla Kangaloo O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and Kerwyn Garcia S.C., First Gentleman, have visited 57 schools across Trinidad and Tobago, bringing students closer to the Office of the President and encouraging greater civic awareness among the nation’s youth.
On Monday 18 May 2026, Their Excellencies continued the initiative with visits to Warrenville Presbyterian Primary School, Warrenville TIA Primary School and Munroe Road Hindu Primary School. At each school, Their Excellencies engaged in interactive classroom sessions with Standard Five students, followed by general assemblies involving the wider student and staff population.
The visits afforded Their Excellencies the opportunity to engage with students, discuss the role and responsibilities of the Presidency, field wide-ranging questions from the young learners, and enjoy the vibrant cultural performances presented by each school.
