Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago extends heartfelt sympathies to the family, friends and students of Professor Brinsley Samaroo.
A man of towering intellect, passionate and erudite in his field, Professor Samaroo was inducted into the Distinguished Society of Trinidad and Tobago in 2014 when he was awarded the Chaconia Medal GOLD for his service and achievements in Education and Public Service.
As his many students will attest, Professor Samaroo’s knowledge of the history of this country was unsurpassed and he will be sorely missed.
