The eighth iteration of the President’s Awards for Innovation in Service Excellence (Pr.A.I.S.E.) took place on Wednesday 26th November, 2025 at The President’s House.
The prestigious awards, hosted under the esteemed patronage of Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), celebrate outstanding achievements in the public sector, with a focus on citizen service transformation and internal user-centred design.
This year’s awards featured two categories: Internal User Experience, which recognises innovations that strengthen efficiency within public institutions, and Citizen Experience, which highlights improvements to the quality and accessibility of public services. The overall winners were the North West Regional Health Authority (Internal User Experience) and the Ministry of Education (Citizen Experience).
In her address, Her Excellency applauded the public servants who continue to push boundaries and improve how Trinidad and Tobago is served and praised the IDB for shining a much-needed light on creativity and excellence within the public service. She congratulated all finalists and winners, expressing gratitude for their contributions to transforming service delivery in Trinidad and Tobago.
