Her Excellency Paula-Mae Weekes O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago recently received His Excellency Tatsuo Hirayama, Ambassador of Japan accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Sachiko Hirayama. The Ambassador came to bid Her Excellency farewell as his tour of duty in this country has come to an end. The Ambassador and his wife also took the opportunity to visit the International Exotic Garden established on the grounds of The President’s House in 2020 to which his country had contributed a bonsai plant.
