President Weekes met with representatives of NATUC on Tuesday 15th January, 2019, at their request.
Matters discussed included the need for more tripartite (Unions, Government & the Private Sector) discussions including social dialogue; the shortage of judges for the Industrial Court along with their security of tenure; the delay in negotiations for Daily Paid Workers and the possibility of NATUC meeting with the President from time to time.
