Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces administered the Oath of Office to seven (7) puisne judges on Tuesday April 7, 2026 in a ceremony at The President’s House. Also in attendance was the Honourable the Chief Justice, Mr. Justice Ronnie Boodoosingh, Chief Justice of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

The seven new puisne judges are:

  • The Hon. Madame Justice Rehanna Hosein
  • The Hon. Madame Justice Hasine Shaikh, S.C.
  • The Hon. Madame Justice Sabrina Dougdeen-Jaglal
  • The Hon. Madame Justice Sherlanne Pierre
  • The Hon. Madame Justice Wendy Ali
  • The Hon. Mr. Justice Nirad Samnadda-Ramrekersingh
  • The Hon. Madame Justice Adia Mohammed
