His Excellency Kerwyn Garcia S.C. First Gentleman of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is Trinidad and Tobago’s first Deputy Chief Scout.
The honour was bestowed at an Investiture Ceremony held at the South Central District Headquarters of the Trinidad and Tobago Scout Association on May 25, 2025. During the ceremony, Scout Commissioner Ainsley John presented His Excellency with the official Scarf and Woggle, symbolising his induction into the role.
His Excellency expressed deep gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility in embracing this new role. He affirmed his commitment to supporting the values and mission of the scouting movement, which seeks to inspire and empower young people throughout the nation.
