Their Excellencies visit the Grande Riviere Chocolate Company

Did you know that there’s a chocolate factory in Grande Riviere?

Their Excellencies Christine Carla Kangaloo O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and Kerwyn Garcia SC, First Gentleman, were pleased to tour the factory of the Grande Riviere Chocolate Company last Friday 19th January, 2024.

This micro-business makes top quality chocolate bars and other cocoa products utilising the internationally recognised Trinitario cocoa beans grown at the cocoa estates in the area.

The intricacies of producing the chocolate bars which come in various flavours including orange, cinnamon, five spice and mint, were explained by Grande Riviere Chocolate Company Chairman Nicholas Alexander and his team.

They were very proud to inform Their Excellencies that Grande Riviere chocolate bars are available at supermarkets and other establishments throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
