The little ones delighted everyone with a performance of their graduation song, World’s Greatest, and even got the chance to try their hand at playing the steelpan for His Excellency. ![]()

His Excellency shared words of encouragement, chatted with the children about their day, and even asked, "Who wants to be President one day?" 🇹🇹❤️![]()

Both morning and afternoon groups had a wonderful time exploring the grounds and rooms of the official residence of our Head of State. From acting out credential ceremonies to uncovering hidden soldiers, their excitement and curiosity filled the day with excitement and laughter.![]()

Senator the Honourable Wade Mark, President of the Senate was today sworn in as Acting President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago by the Honourable the Chief Justice Mr. Justice Ivor Archie ORTT. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Office of the President, Circular Road, St. Ann’s.![]()

The Acting President assumes the duties of Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, who left the jurisdiction earlier today. ![]()

Ahead of today’s swearing-in, Her Excellency met with Senator the Honourable Wade Mark on Tuesday 27 May, 2025, at The President’s House.
