Presentation of Credentials: Ambassador of the Republic of Panama

Mr. Diomedes Heraclio Carles Cleghorn as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Panama to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago presented his credentials to Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, on, February 11, 2025 at The President’s House.

Mrs. Joyra Castillo Quintero, First Secretary of Diplomatic and Consular Career of the Embassy of the Republic of Panama accompanied the Ambassador designate.

The presentation of Letters of Credence is an important element of diplomatic relations. Letters of Credence from incoming Ambassadors or High Commissioners provides the permission for the Ambassador or High Commissioner to represent their country and act on its behalf in Trinidad and Tobago.

Her Excellency welcomed the Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago and wished him every success in his new post.

On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, a delegation of the Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross Society (TTRCS) paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
