Jan 29, 2019
Presidential and Anglican pride competed as Her Excellency Paula-Mae Weekes O.R.T.T. listened enraptured to the dulcet tones of the award-winning Lambeau Anglican Primary School Choir yesterday, Tuesday 29th January, 2019.
In her short, impromptu address, Her Excellency made special mention of Mr. Lincoln and Mrs. Ruby Warner, choir master and choir mistress who for decades have dedicated themselves to the rich musical education of the children of the school. Her Excellency noted that membership of a choir requires not only talent but discipline and she commended all involved for the obvious effort put in to making the choir a cohesive, harmonious unit.
School principal Mrs. Elva Winchester-Romeo also came in for Presidential praise for her attention-to-detail organisation of Her Excellency’s visit.
The Office of the President thanks the Information Division of the Tobago House of Assembly for providing the featured video of her visit to Lambeau Anglican Primary School.
