Patron of the Diabetes Association of Trinidad and Tobago, His Excellency Kerwyn Garcia S.C, First Gentleman, attended the finals of the National Diabetes Primary School Quiz on Friday 17th May, 2024.
The quiz is intended to increase awareness of the signs and symptoms of diabetes, its complications and prevention. His Excellency, a staunch advocate of diabetes awareness and prevention, was thoroughly impressed by the knowledge, enthusiasm and courage demonstrated by the young participants.
While all the entrants acquitted themselves commendably, congratulations are in order for Vivek Supersad-Maharaj on securing first place in the competition. Well done to Vivek and to all other participants!
