Her Excellency attends the Syrian-Lebanese Women’s Association Annual Mother’s Day Luncheon

Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago congratulates the Syrian-Lebanese Women’s Association on celebrating 75 years of selfless service and charity.

This tremendous milestone was celebrated at a Mother’s day luncheon and awards ceremony on May 12, 2025, where Ms. Venus Sabga, Ms Minerva Sabga, Ms. Jasmin Sabga and Dr. Josephine Laquis Rodriguez were recognized with Mother of the Year 2025 awards in honour of their service.

On Saturday, February 7, 2026, Their Excellencies Christine Carla Kangaloo, ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and Kerwyn Garcia, S.C., First Gentleman, attended the Red Cross Children’s Carnival, popularly known as "Kiddies Carnival", at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
