Her Excellency, Christine Carla Kangaloo, ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago extends condolences to the family, friends and colleagues on the passing of Mr. Philip Rochford.
Mr. Rochford was a business economist, chartered accountant, chartered banker, chartered secretary and certified mediator. He was considered a pioneer in the banking industry and served as former chairman of a commercial bank, international airline, and a national petroleum marketing company as well as a director of Neal and Massy holdings Limited for 15 years. He was also an author, certified coach and motivational speaker.
In 1975, Mr. Rochford was awarded the Hummingbird Medal Gold in the sphere of Economics.
