Condolences on the Passing of former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday

Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is deeply saddened by the death of former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday.

Union leader, politician, statesman, husband and father, Mr. Panday was a giant of a man who led this country with passion and compassion.

On behalf of the nation, Her Excellency extends deepest condolences to Mr. Panday’s family, friends and all who mourn his passing.
