It is with profound sadness that the Office of the President announces the passing of our beloved colleague, Chef Jason Pierre.
For more than thirty years, Jason served the Office of the President with unwavering dedication and professionalism. He was a valued member of the Office’s team, serving six Presidents of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. To all who had the privilege of working alongside him, he was not only a cherished colleague but also a dear friend and mentor.
In June 2026, Jason was recognised for his more than three decades of dedicated service to the Office of the President, a fitting tribute to his longstanding commitment.
The Office of the President extends its deepest condolences to Jason’s family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time.
May he rest in eternal peace.
