Condolences on the Passing of Dr. Mansoor IbrahimHer Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, extends sincere condolences to the family, friends, and the wider Muslim community on the passing of Dr. Mansoor Ibrahim, former Head of the Anjuman Sunnat ul Jamaat Association Inc. (ASJA) and a distinguished servant of community and country.For more than six decades, Dr. Ibrahim dedicated himself to the medical profession, providing compassionate care to generations of families, particularly in underserved communities across Port of Spain and its environs. His Excellency Dr. Pradeep Singh Rajpurohit, High Commissioner for the Republic of India to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, paid a farewell courtesy call on Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, today, Tuesday, September 8, 2026.The High Commissioner was accompanied by his spouse, Mrs. Manju Rajpurohit, and Mr. Sagar Maitra, Second Secretary and Head of Chancery.Dr. Rajpurohit presented his credentials on October 10, 2023, at one of the first Presentation of Credentials ceremonies hosted by Her Excellency following her assumption of office in March of that year.During their meeting, Her Excellency thanked Dr. Rajpurohit for his service and contribution to the relationship between India and Trinidad and Tobago and extended her best wishes to him for the future.
