Ms. Dawn Callender who has spent most of her professional career in financial management, took her oath of office as a Commissioner to the Fair Trading Commission on Tuesday September 28, 2021. Ms. Callender is the holder of a Master of Business Administration from the Henley Management College, United Kingdom and is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants from the City Accountancy College, England. She has worked in the United States of America, the United Kingdom and Zimbabwe.

Also taking their oaths of office today as Commissioners to the Regulated Industries Commission were:
Dr. Dave Seerattan – an economist who has studied Caribbean and emerging economies for over twenty years, particularly the financial sector in these economies. He is the holder of a Doctorate from the Brunel University, England, and a Master of Science Degree in Economics from the University of the West Indies.

Mr. Earl Wilson – a professional Project Manager and a Registered Civil Engineer with over 30 years experience in project management and the maintenance of major transport and infrastructure projects. He holds Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of the West Indies.

Mr. Fulton Wilson – the head of F.O.J. Wilson and Company Attorneys-at-Law and has been at the firm for the past fifteen years. Mr. Wilson holds a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School, a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Social Administration from the Loughborough University in Leicestershire, England.

Mr. Christian Mora – an experienced Management professional with a demonstrated history of working in the alternative dispute resolution field. His areas of expertise include Industrial and Employment Relations, Human Resource Management, Programme Management, Policy Management, Risk Management and Results Based Management. He is currently, a Senior Human Resource Specialist I at the Cipriani College of Labour and Co-operative Studies. Mr. Mora holds a Master of Science Degree in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies.

Mrs. Christine Parris-Debique – a Director at the National Insurance Property Development Co Ltd and Chairperson of the Audit Committee. She is a management professional with over forty years of experience in tax planning, financial management, and the auditing of offshore, public sector and private sector Companies. Ms. Parris-Debique is a Fellow Member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago.
