As a cancer survivor herself, Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, brings a deeply personal commitment to her role as Patron of the Cancer Society. Her Excellency visited the Headquarters of the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society and Vitas House, underscoring the invaluable contributions of the dedicated teams at both institutions. ![]()

These visits highlighted the pivotal role these organizations play in supporting individuals and families affected by cancer whether through easily accessible testing and counselling services and in the case of Vitas House, hospice care. Her Excellency expressed heartfelt admiration to the staff at both institutions for their unwavering dedication and compassion, which offer hope and healing to many in need.![]()
