Her Excellency Paula-Mae Weekes O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, presented seven THA Secretaries and one Assistant Secretary with their Instruments of Appointment after witnessing each take the Oath of Office at President’s House on Thursday May 14, 2020.
Assemblyman Kelvin Charles, Assemblyman Marslyn Melville-Jack, Assemblyman Hayden Spencer, Assemblyman Clarence Jacob, Assemblyman Raoul Jomo Pitt, Councillor Tracy Davidson-Celestine, and Councillor Kwesi Des Vignes were sworn-in as Secretaries while Councillor Nadine Stewart-Philips was sworn-in as an Assistant Secretary.
All eight swore to bear true faith and allegiance to Trinidad and Tobago, to uphold the Constitution and the law, and to conscientiously, impartially and to the best of their ability, discharge their duties and do right to all manner of people without fear or favour, affection or ill will.
Observing the proceedings was THA Chief Secretary, Assemblyman Ancil Dennis.
