Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, received a courtesy call from Mr. Rudranath Maharaj, Principal of the Hugh Wooding Law School on Tuesday August 12, 2025. Mr. Maharaj officially assumed the position on August 1, 2025, having been appointed by the Council of Legal Education (CLE).
Mr. Maharaj has been a practicing attorney for 28 years and is a trained mediator. He has been a lecturer at the Hugh Wooding Law School since 2005. He has served as Senior Tutor II and Course Director in Probate Practice and Procedure at HWLS.
Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo O.R.T.T. congratulated Mr. Maharaj on his appointment and extended her best wishes on his new appointment.
