Message from Her Excellency to SEA students 2025

My Dear Students,

I extend my best wishes to you, the SEA Class of 2025, as you prepare to sit the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examination, tomorrow. I know that you have all worked extremely hard to get to this point – burning the midnight oil, reviewing your practice materials and making difficult sacrifices.

I know that your parents, teachers, and indeed, the entire country, are proud of you and of the hard work you have put in to prepare for the examination. You have stayed focused, you have demonstrated great maturity and determination, and for that, I am very proud of all of you.

As tomorrow approaches, it is natural to feel nervous. Try to not let these nerves overwhelm you. Trust in your preparation and know that you are ready. Believe in yourselves – as your parents, teachers, and I believe in you. We all know that you will put your best foot forward tomorrow and give your very best—that is all that we ask.

I wish you the very best tomorrow and I pray that God will bless and keep you all.

#Tbt On Thursday 10th April, 2025, the Office of the President welcomed members of the Strong-Minded Survivors and Precious Daughters of the Beloved Women’s Ministry for tours of The President’s House and grounds.Both groups made the most of the sunshine, exploring the scenic grounds and visiting the public areas of the Great House, all while gaining a deeper understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the President. A truly memorable highlight came during the morning tour with the Strong Minded Survivors who received a surprise visit from Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. On Wednesday April 16, 2025, Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago presided over the Swearing in Ceremony for one (1) member of the Judicial and Legal Service Commission, as well as three (3) members and a Chairman of the Public Service Appeal Board. The Honourable Madam Justice Charmaine Pemberton, Justice of Appeal, was re-appointed as a Member of the Judicial and Legal Service Commission.The Honourable Madam Justice Judith Jones (Retired) was appointed as a Member and Chairman of the Public Service Appeal Board, whilst, Ms. Melba Dedier and Mrs. Simonne Jaggernauth-Clarke were appointed as Members.Her Excellency thanked the Hon. Today, Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, attended The Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) Interfaith Service of Reflection and Prayer in Commemoration of its 20th Anniversary at Queen's Hall. Her Excellency was greeted by the President of the CCJ The Hon. Mr. Justice Adrian Saunders. The Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) was established on 14 February 2001 by the Agreement Establishing the Caribbean Court of Justice, which came into force on 23 July 2002. The Court was then inaugurated on 16 April 2005.
