His Excellency Fang Qiu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China paid a farewell courtesy call on Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on September 30, 2024.
During the visit His Excellency expressed his gratitude for the time spent in Trinidad and Tobago having been the 14th and longest serving Ambassador of China to Trinidad and Tobago. His Excellency shared some of the projects undertaken during his tenure as Ambassador including the Chinese Community Friendship 7k Road Race at the QPS on September 29, 2024.
Her Excellency thanked Ambassador Fang Qiu for his service and the contributions China has made to Trinidad and Tobago having celebrated 50 years of diplomatic relations.
