Their Excellencies visit Mt. Plaisir Estate Hotel

At about this time on Friday 19th January, 2024, Their Excellencies Christine Carla Kangaloo O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and Kerwyn Garcia SC, First Gentleman were being welcomed to Mt. Plaisir Estate Hotel in Grande Riviere by brothers John and Robert Hadad, Group Co-Chief Executive Officers of HADCO Experiences.

Located directly on the beach, the newly renovated hotel commands breathtaking views of the Grande Riviere beach, recognised the world over as a major nesting site for leatherback turtles. Each year, hundreds of turtles return to lay their eggs with many thousands of hatchlings eventually making their way back to the sea to begin their own cycle of departure and return.

Their Excellencies were taken on a thorough tour of the facility by the brothers Hadad who spoke proudly of the many improvements they have introduced during the major renovations undertaken at the hotel since HADCO Experiences acquired the property. Special lighting has been introduced so as not to disturb nesting turtles. Loud music is not allowed for the same reason.

Their Excellencies declared themselves very impressed with Mt. Plaisir and were promptly invited to visit HADCO Experiences’ other newly acquired and renovated eco-resort Asa Wright Nature Centre on Blanchisseuse Road which itself is world renowned as a bird watcher’s paradise.
