How does someone receive a National Award? 🇹🇹🏅 The journey begins with you, the citizens!🔹 Members of the public are invited to submit nominations to the National Awards Committee, chaired by the Chief Justice.🔹 The Committee reviews the nominations and forwards its recommendations to the Prime Minister.🔹 The Prime Minister may accept, reject, or add to these recommendations, and then advises the President.🔹 With the consent of the nominee, the President confers the Award at the National Awards Ceremony on Republic Day.✨ The National Awards provide an opportunity to honour anyone who has served the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.#NationalAwards2025 #RepublicDay #OFFICEOFTHEPRESIDENT #trinidadandtobago ...
