On Wednesday 10th September, 2025, Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, presented the President’s Medals for CAPE, CSEC, SEA, and NEC to awardees for the years 2023 and 2024, at The President’s House.
Her Excellency delivered the Feature Address in which she praised the awardees not only for their academic excellence, but also for their balance, discipline, and commitment to Trinidad and Tobago.
Also in attendance at the event were the Hon. Dr. Michael Dowlath M.P., Minister of Education; Senator the Hon. Professor Prakash Persad, Minister of Tertiary Education and Skills Training; and Mr. Hansen Narinesingh M.P., Parliamentary Secretary.
Ms. Nishka Maharaj, who was unable to attend Wednesday’s ceremony, received her award on Tuesday 9th September, 2025.
