Her Excellency Paula-Mae Weekes, ORTT hosted 120 children from Friends of the Country (TOCO) to a Christmas Treat on the grounds of President’s House on Sunday 9th December, 2018.
The children, some of whom had never been to Port of Spain before, were treated to popcorn, ice cream and other delicacies. They also enjoyed various fun activities including horse rides, bouncy castles, face painting and musical chairs. Some of the youngsters put on a short skit for Her Excellency who was particularly impressed by one young lady’s performance of a tenor pan solo. A visit by Santa brought proceedings to a suitably exciting close.
