Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago received the Caribbean Examinations Council’s (CXC) top regional awardees at The President’s House on Monday 8th December, 2025.
The 17 students from across the region who excelled in the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE), Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC) examinations were accompanied by Dr. Wayne Wesley, Registrar and CEO, CXC; Dr. Marcia Potter, Deputy Chair, CXC; and Mr. Claudelle McKellar, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education.
Her Excellency congratulated the students on their outstanding achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their future endeavours.
