The 19th edition of the Cotton Tree Foundation’s annual Golf Charity Tournament teed off under the patronage of Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, yesterday, Wednesday 15th May, 2024 at the St Andrews Golf Club in Maraval.
An exciting day of golf followed Her Excellency’s opening of the competition in which several teams participated. The tournament is a significant fundraiser for the Foundation, with proceeds going towards supporting its community and youth development objectives.
The Cotton Tree Foundation is a non-governmental organization founded in 1993 by Desmond Allum S.C. Its focus is on the education of under-resourced children mainly from the St Ann’s, Cascade, Belmont and East Dry River areas, and also throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
