🥁✨ A National Symbol in Lego: Our Coat of Arms with the Steelpan ✨🥁Today, August 26, 2025, Their Excellencies Christine Carla Kangaloo, ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and Kerwyn Garcia S.C., First Gentleman, received a historic gift from the Lego Club of Trinidad and Tobago — a newly designed Coat of Arms built entirely from Lego bricks. Her Excellency was in awe of this remarkable accomplishment and extend heartfelt congratulations to the nine students present, their parents, and the directors of the Lego Club of Trinidad and Tobago. Her Excellency shared that this project is not just about Lego bricks; it is about what Trinidad and Tobago’s 63rd Independence should truly represent — unity and national pride. Every piece, every effort, speaks to the strength of our people when we work togetherThis incredible 5ft x 5ft creation contains 36,864 Lego bricks and, for the first time, proudly features the steelpan, our national instrument and a symbol of creativity, resilience, and rhythm. The project, completed by nine young builders and their families, is not just about bricks — it is about unity, imagination, and national pride. Every piece tells a story of love for Trinidad and Tobago. In 2019, the first Lego Coat of Arms was presented to the President, Justice Paula Mae Weekes ORTTAs we approach our 63rd Independence Anniversary, this Coat of Arms stands as a reminder that our children are not only the future, but the heartbeat of our great nation.Click on link for full album www.flickr.com/photos/160414226@N06/albums/72177720328616306/ #Celebrating63 #ProudelyTT#CoatOfArms #Steelpan #LegoTT #NationalPride #OfficeOfThePresidentTT ...
