Another member of the Distinguished Society of Trinidad and Tobago has left us.
Business titan Sidney Knox, a former Chairman and CEO of Neal and Massy (now the Massy Group) was awarded the Chaconia Medal GOLD in 1991 in the sphere of Business.
Before becoming a businessman, Sidney Knox served as a pilot in World War II, signing up to serve with the Allied Forces at just 17 years of age.
Upon his return from the war, Sidney Knox aka Bullmoose entered the world of business, working his way up from salesman to eventually become one of the most powerful and respected businessmen in Trinidad and Tobago and indeed the Caribbean.
Mr. Knox was inducted into the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame in 2006.
Her Excellency Paula-Mae Weekes O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago offers deepest condolences to the family, friends and business colleagues of Mr. Sidney Knox. May he rest in eternal peace.
