Her Excellency Paula-Mae Weekes hosted members of the Commonwealth Judicial Education Institute to cocktails at The Cottage at President’s House last Saturday November 17. The jurists were in Trinidad attending the Biennial Meeting of the CJEI held at the Hyatt Regency November 15 – 18. The meeting brought together leaders of judicial education in Commonwealth jurisdictions to facilitate the exchange of information, human and material resources and experiences. The judicial educators shared their successes and failures and analysed causation and solutions. Approximately 50 jurists from across the Commonwealth attended the conference.
