Since 2023, Her Excellency has engaged with the TTDF through a range of official duties and ceremonies, including Independence Day parades, Long Service Awards ceremonies, troop visits in 2025, Remembrance Day observances, the Armistice Dinner hosted at The President’s House, and the approval of key promotions. ![]()

Since the launch of the School Visits programme in 2024, Their Excellencies Christine Carla Kangaloo ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and Kerwyn Garcia SC, First Gentleman have visited several schools across the nation, bringing conversations about the Presidency into classrooms.![]()
On 23 April 2026, Their Excellencies continued their outreach in the North Eastern Education District with visits to SWAHA Hindu College, Sangre Grande Secondary School, and Northeastern College. ![]()

At each stop, they engaged senior students in meaningful discussions on the role and responsibilities of the President. Her Excellency also addressed the full student body, sharing words of encouragement and inspiration. Students, in turn, warmly welcomed Their Excellencies with vibrant cultural presentations and tokens of appreciation. These visits bring the total number of schools visited since January 2024 to 54.![]()
