Attorney-at-Law Chrisendath Mahabir was sworn-in as a Member of the Salaries Review Commission on Monday 6th May, 2019. The ceremony took place at the Office of the President and was witnessed by Mr. Mahabir’s wife Radheka Mahabir and son Dr. Shivan Mahabir.
Mr. Mahabir is a career public officer. He served as Permanent Secretary Ag. in the Ministry of Health as well as Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministries of the Attorney General, Local Government and Public Utilities.
Mr. Mahabir served two terms as a member of the Industrial Relations Advisory Committee as well as on various inter and intra-ministerial committees examining various aspects of the Public Service.
